Sales Conditions
NB: The sale conditions of our “Friend Product” can differ from those applicable to Kawell Expeditions. If this is the case, you shall be informed.
- Expeditions are subject to modification due to weather conditions and other circumstances beyond our control. For any changes out of our control there shall be no refund.
- Any expense not explicitly stated to be included in the program shall be covered by the clients.
- Every client is responsible for the equipment handed over to them for the expedition. Lost or damaged equipment is at the expense of the client.
- Clients represent that they possess a fitness level and physical condition that will enable them to complete and enjoy the trip they have chosen.
- Clients are encouraged to be well informed about their trip and to ask all relevant questions prior to departure.
- Kawell Expeditions reserves the right to take pictures and videos during its expeditions and to use these as promotion material.
Price:
- Kawell Expeditions reserves the right to adjust prices in case of exceptional circumstances out of our control (e.g. exchange rate fluctuations). If this is the case, we will inform the client prior to booking.
Methods of payment:
- Money transfer (via Western Union or Chilexpress)
- Wire transfer to our BCI bank account in Chile.
Reservations:
Deposit equal to 30% of the total amount shall be paid at least 60 days before the departure date; the remaining 70 % shall be paid at least 30 days prior to departure.
Upon receipt of the deposit, Kawell Expeditions will send a reservation confirmation, a liability waiver and more detailed information on the expedition.
Final Payment:
Final payment should occur at least 30 days before the departure date. US$100 surcharge will apply in the event of late payment.
Please inform us via email if you need to cancel your reservation.
- For cancelations at least 60 days prior to departure, US$75 shall be charged as a cancelation fee.
- For cancelations at least 30 days but less than 60 prior to departure, 30% of the total will be charged (i.e., the deposit will be forfeit).
- For cancelations at least 10 days but less than 30 prior to departure, 50% of the total shall be reimbursed.
- For cancelations less than 10 days prior to departure, there are no reimbursements.
